    Theres no doubt why he is still the most important writer in comics. He’s simply an inspiration. And as much of you have commented I would love to sit and have a chat with him. That would be a dream come true.

  5. Just another reason …
    Just another reason to like Alan Moore. In addition to being an extremely talented writer, it would appear that he is an equally nice guy. I would love to sit down with this guy and talk comics, books, TV, music, and just life in general. Hell, I’d even bring my guitar so we could jam. lol

    wow, alan moore giving me advice on what to do with my life, i would probably make a sex explosion in my pants, or start to drool, or cry and laugh at the same time with every sentence he utters. i need to go change my pants, get a box of tissues for my drooling, sex explosion and crying/laughing.

    yeah he still could have made money on those movies without having to actually put his name on them. and money unfortunately is not meaningless. don’t believe me then look at the people who really don’t have it.

    Alan Moore’s work changed my life, not 180 of course, but it is so brilliant and so benevolent that it made me want to be the later rather than so much the former that the later wouldn’t matter.

    But this is the advice successful AND distinguished artists have been giving for decades and these same artists keep getting screwed over. They keep getting obscured by the popular dross and the 95% of derivative hacks that would agree with them.
