What is some good instrumental music to listen to while you write?

I’m writing a vampire suspense novel and need some instrumental music. I already have the Twilight soundtracks so don’t mention those. Thanks!

Any and all music from Cirque du Soleil is absolutely AMAZING for inspiration. Some songs have words, and some are sung in other languages, which is also inspirational for me. Plus, the songs have all kinds of different moods (fast, slow, dark, etc) so you can pick what you like.

  1. It depends on what you want to write.

For example, if you’re writing a sombre romantic scene you wouldn’t listen to death metal.

  5. Try listening to Apopcalyptica.. they are a band that covers music by metalica and others but with Chellos… it is really amazing and id say good for anything vampire. their music is really inspiring and magical. I always get right into it when i listen to them…
If you want something a little more softer try Enya. her songs sound almost like a fantasy, if you are doing a romantic scene.

hope i helped some and good luck :D
