What songs make you sound like a good singer?

I have to sing a solo for glee club and am not the best out of the group.
I have a lower voice and can sing jazzy songs well.
Newer songs and songs from musicals/movies would be good.

I’m really not sure, but I’m sure if you randomly hit up some youtube videos you could get a good idea.

Do you think you’d be able to do some Taylor Swift, or something? She’s pretty popular.
