Tourettes I Swear I Can’t Help It || 3*6 || HQ

Documentary revisiting John Davidson, who featured in a BBC film about Tourettes syndrome in 1988, and 15-year-old Greg Storey, who the cameras met when they revisited John in 2002. Greg is now the same age as John was when he first took part in a documentary. How does Greg’s experience of being a teenager with Tourettes compare to John’s, and how does John’s life continue to change?

    I suffer from sleep walking and severe night terrors.

    I cant help but think there is something related between my condition and these peoples. Uncontrolled/unconcious behavior manifesting itself against your “will”.

    Scary stuff.

    I’m finding John to be a lovely man, and I hope he finds a loving partner who loves him for who he is. I laugh at some of the things said, because I have a twisted sense of humor…but in a kind way, I’d never laugh AT a tourette sufferer, but with them as some of the things they say are in fact hillarious. John makes me laugh…and smile. Bless you.

    the sad thing is, if they could control their ticks they could be successful as comedians, and before people call me a for saying that i dont mean cos their condition is funny, but that cowpat bit, the another gay man bit, these men are clever and witty, some of the stuff they are saying is just genuinely funny and its a shame they can’t control it to work for them
